Sridevi Datla Vs. Union of India & Ors.

The petitioner brought an appeal (Appeal No. 18 of 2017) against the Union of India and others before the National Green Tribunal (NGT). The appeal contested the Environmental Clearance (EC) issued on August 14, 2017, to M/s Bhogapuram International Airport Corporation Ltd (APADCL) for the Phase-1 development of a Greenfield International Airport in Tehsil Bhogapuram, District Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. The NGT ultimately upheld the validity of the EC granted. The Firm represented APADCL.

Amresh Singh vs Union of India & Ors.

The Firm is representing HCC in an ongoing case before the NGT concerning their work on the four-laning of NH-44, spanning from 151 km to 187 km, in the State of Jammu and Kashmir under NHDP-II by the National Highways Authority of India. The complaint highlighted the unauthorized soil dumping into the Chenab and Tawi rivers, potentially jeopardizing their integrity and impacting nearby forests.

Essar Oil Ltd vs Halar Utkarsh Samiti & Ors.

In this landmark Public Interest Litigation (PIL), the Firm successfully represented Essar Oil Ltd. before the Supreme Court. Our efforts allowed our Client to construct their oil pipeline in Vadinar, Gujarat.

In the matter of Clemenceau -

The Firm represented the buyers of the celebrated French Navy battleship Clemenceau in a Supreme Court case concerning its dismantling in Alang, India. The case centered on improper disposal and inadequate facilities for managing toxic waste, namely asbestos. The Firm successfully represented the Clients and other advocates and experts before the Supreme Court-appointed committee and obtained permission to break the ship in India.
